How to Celebrate and Enhance Thanksgiving

How to Celebrate and Enhance Thanksgiving

Daniel Gratsas

Thanksgiving is a time of year where everybody in your family (or friends) get together, be thankful for what they have as well as eat Turkey. But sadly due to the current situation out there, we cannot just celebrate the holiday normally as we would’ve celebrated. At least kids and adults alike can take off from school or work.

But fear not! Us pilgrims will help you enhance your holiday in the best ways possible so that you can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday.

Let’s set sail!

  1. Chat with family (or friends) on Zoom

Don’t be afraid to reach out to them on Zoom or any other digital program. This is one of the best ways to connect with others without having to physically visit them. The best part is that you don’t have to risk spreading infection or at least getting infected. But at the same time, don’t be afraid to invite some family members over, but not too many make sure the household is under ten. Or you could go to your closest relative’s house to be safe.

  1. Don’t be afraid to try new things

This year will be a little different than the other years. Hopefully next year will be better. But while that will approach soon, try new activities like making new food, or making art, or whatever you like to do. You might like doing what you’re doing.

  1. Watch Football

If you have nothing to do or worry about, watch football. The best part is that it’s still going because there are no crowds and they can play without any difficulties. Hey! At least your dream team will still keep playing!

Although sadly there may not be as much as there should be, we hope that next year there will be some huge improvements for the future and hopefully be able to have a better Thanksgiving holiday.
