From March 30 – April 1, the MHS Theater Society put on Crazy for You, a musical. To summarize, the show followed Bobby Child (played by Patrick Murray) as he had to decide between an affluent life in New York City, or his passion for theater in Nevada. Bobby is originally sent to Deadrock, Nevada to foreclose on a theater, but he meets a woman named Polly Baker (played by Emma Lewis), to whom he takes a liking to. Bobby then does all he can to win Polly’s heart and eventually saves the theater.

In this production (directed by Anthony Greco), the cast did a fantastic job bringing a classic Gershwin musical to life. Spectacular dance numbers closed both the first and second acts and brought the audience to their feet. I would like to congratulate the cast and crew on a job well done, and can’t wait to see the next production in the fall.
