Girls Lacrosse Starts Successfully

The Marlboro High School girls lacrosse team is both talented and passionate about the sport that they play. With captains Carly Weilheimer, Erinn Colbert, and Andrea Vetrano leading the team, there is no doubt that this season will be one of the most successful ever especially with the help of coaches Mr. Daley for Varsity and Mr. Nesi for JV.

The girls lacrosse team practices six days every week at Marlboro High School proving that these girls have dedication and love for the sport. As a team this year the girls would like to make it to States and the Shore Conference games. With the work that the girls put in this goal is very possible.

Senior and captain Carly Weilheimer loves lacrosse and has played for the last four years. She says, “I love the girls. They are all so nice and we all like to bond which makes our team better and stronger.” Her favorite memory with the team was playing in the rain one day when suddenly they all started to mud slide! Their ability to bond as a team will help them as they play as a team for the rest of the season.

Good luck during the rest of this season ladies!
