Blind With Sight

Nabiha Khan, Grade 12

Bright night

Dark light

We see with no sight

But it’s in black and white

Cold

Snow we hold

It’s winter, we are told

Peeking behind the clouds is gold

The sun

Children having fun

Schools out, time to run

But soon summer will be done

Rain showers

Millions of flowers

Splashing in puddles for hours

Spring with power

After you spring up you must fall down

Beautiful colors all around town

Red, orange, yellow, brown

In leaves we drown

Sight may come to an end

But imagination is always our friend
