Complicated

Ishika Jain

Confused, confuzzled, clouded.

Mind boggling and lost.

Somewhere in the abyss,

Was something worse than the holocaust.

Can’t put your finger on it,

Never ever will,

Because one day, far in the future,

You may not remember it still.

It may take centuries,

Decades or years.

But one day, with a sliver of hope,

Your day may end in cheers.

Memories upon memories,

Stacked inside your mind.

Your answer so far away,

Yet there it glows, outlined.

Confused, confuzzled, clouded.

Everything we hated.

However it always ends,

With everything, complicated.
