PS5 Vs Xbox Series X/S and Why I’m Buying A PC
December 1, 2020
The new console generation is finally upon us and to say the least, It has been a complete disaster.
Consoles not working and not even being able to purchase them have been a prominent issue these past couple weeks. But in this article I will be explaining the differences between these consoles, mainly price and games because I am not an expert at power, and see which one you should buy and give my own thoughts.
Price
PS5 (Disc) – $499
PS5 (Digital) – $399
Xbox Series X – $ 499
Xbox Series S (Digital) – $299
These are the prices for each specific console. As you can see the PS5 and Xbox Series S have a digital only console for cheaper which in my opinion is a good move due to the pandemic. This is also helpful due to the cheaper price.
Games
Here are some of the top games on both consoles
PS5
Demon Souls – Exclusive
Bugsnax – PS5, PS4, and PC
Spiderman: Miles Morales – PS5 and PS4
Astros’ Playroom – Exclusive
Xbox Series X/S
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Xbox Series X/S and PS5
Watch Dogs Legion – Xbox Series X/S PS5
Yakuza: Like A Dragon – Xbox Series X/S and PC (Timed until March 2nd, 2021)
Why I’m Buying A PC
This is my opinion on the matter, The new consoles don’t excite me and most third party games are coming to PC. I believe it is a better use of my money to just buy the PS5 controller, because it looks cool and I can use it on PC, and I can get better performance on games when I play on PC. In conclusion, I hope whatever console you buy makes you happy but I will be buying a PC instead.
