On March 23rd, We the People held a “Teacher Jeopardy” competition to raise money for our trip to Nationals in Washington DC. The teachers that participated were Mr. Uplinger, Mr. Sauter, Dr. Malik, Mr. Son, and Ms. Berryman, and it was hosted by Josh Levy and Mr. Levi. This competition followed the same rules as traditional jeopardy, making it a great time for all. The gym was completely full, creating quite a tense atmosphere as the teachers battled it out for the coveted trophy. The questions were all student created, and came in a bunch of different categories including “Quoth the Figure”, “Finish the Lyrics”, and “Sitcoms”. At the end, Mr. Sauter , the great and powerful (the Hitching Post advisor), emerged victorious. A few were close to the lead, but Mr. Sauter answered the final jeopardy question, securing the win. All in all, this event raised a whopping $1409.25 for We the People!

On behalf of We the People, I would like to thank everyone who came to sit in the audience, the administration for letting us put this on, and the custodial staff for helping set up and clean up.
